Working Experience :

Project / Program Management

  • Screening new projects, conducting feasibility studies and preparing project reports to assess viability of projects on social and economic level.
  • Monitoring project progress involving coordination with government agencies and project partners to ensure smooth execution of projects within the time & cost norms
  • Administering the preparation of proposals for funding agencies and project partners as well as donor agencies for timely execution of projects.
  • Designated expert in the field of Change and Stress Management.
  • Participating in the policy formulation and institutionalization of country’s initiative for prevention and control of global illegal trade of wildlife parts and its derivatives.
  • Redefining the concepts of participation and importance of investments in the management of the prime protected areas of the country. Devising the strategies for coexistence of JFM practices and wildlife conservation issues and Initiating productive interaction with NGOs and Voluntary organizations in JFM practices.
  • Handling Joint Forest Management and Biodiversity conservation through peoples’ participation
  • Managing corporate governance for the forest and wildlife sectors as well as tailoring of management principles to suit the needs of the public sector and implementation

    Training & Development

  • Conceptualizing & developing training & development initiatives for improved productivity, building capability and quality enhancement.
  • Identifying training needs across levels through mapping of skills required for particular positions and analysis of the existing level of competencies.
  • Facilitating Management Development Programs of personnel in the corporate sector for Change and Stress management initiatives.

    Relationship Management

  • Negotiating with institutions and funding agencies for raising fund and non-fund based facilities at favourable terms to meet project requirements.
  • Liaising with ministries, govt. departments & regulatory authorities for obtaining necessary sanctions / approvals and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
  • Relationship building with project partners, consultants, contractors, donors & other external agencies for finalising projects and ensuring compliance to the terms and conditions.
  • Areas of Teaching Interest :

    Environment management with special emphasis ecology, forests and wildlife, EIA and Disaster Management plan, CDM applications, Eco-tourism, Environmental Legislation and “Public Hearing”.

    General Management : Management Principles and Practices, Business Ethics, Communication and Networking, Corporate Planning, Change and Stress Management, Public Private inter-face.

    HR Issues : Conflict Resolution, Leadership and Team Building, Collective Bargaining, Corporate Culture
