MBA (day) and MBA (evening) |

IISWBM conducts Master's Degree programmes of Calcutta University in Business
Administration in the day (full-time) and evening (part-time) sessions. Students of
full-time MBA (full-time) are admitted through the Common Admission Test (CAT) jointly
held with IIMs. The students for the evening courses are required to be sponsored by their
employers and are admitted through MAT. Newspaper advertisements for MBA (full-time) appear in July each year. Test in
November/December followed by Group discussion & Interview.
Structure of
the MBA(D) programme :
There are 16
Compulsory papers in the First year followed by the Summer
project in between the First year and Second year. In the Second
year there are 4 Compulsory Papers and 9 Optional papers
of which 6 papers are in the Major area of specialisation and 3
papers are in the Minor area of specialisation ,followed
by the Dissertation.
Structure of
the MBA(E) programme :
There are 10
Compulsory papers in the First year . In the Second
year there are 6 Compulsory Papers for Part 1 Exam and 4
Compulsory papers and 9 Optional papers
of which 6 papers are in the Major area of specialisation and 3
papers are in the Minor area of specialisation ,followed
by the Dissertation in the third year.

Masters in Human
Resource Management (MHRM) |

The Programme is designed to give students, a liberal business education and
simultaneously prepare them for careers in managing human resources in industry. The
emphasis of the programme is on an integrated understanding of the totality of business,
its philosophy and socio-economic inter-relationship. The programme is specially designed
to develop and enhance the basic managerial skills and abilities of students and equip
them with appropriate tools of modern management for better decision-making.This Course leads to the MHRM degree of Calcutta
University. The degree has been recognised by the All India Council for Technical
Education(AICTE), Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development,
Government of India. Admission through CAT scores.

Post Graduate Diploma Programme
in Business Management (Evening): PGDBM |

PGDBM is of three years' duration. The course
starts in January each year. This course is divided into three parts spread over three
years. There are altogether 18 papers including project work and Viva-Voce and the
examination held at the end of each year. Admissions through MAT scores/GD/Interview.

Public Systems Management courses (PSM) |

The Institute is running
Post Graduate Diploma courses in Transportation & Logistics Management, Energy
Management, Environment management and Health Care & Hospital Management. These are 2
years full time day programmes. The day courses are divided into four semesters. The
first semester is confined to general management subjects and common classes are held for
all the disciplines. The second, third and fourth semesters are then devoted to
instructions in specialised subjects, peculiar to each disciplineAdmission is through MAT scores/GD/Interview.

Graduate Diploma in Sports Management |

The Naval Tata
Centre of Excellence in Sports Management of the Indian
Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management conducts a
one year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management
(PGDSM) during the day. This is a diploma offered by the
Institute.
The programme
would assist the students to gain a thorough understanding of
the multi-dimensional importance and the value of sport. The
candidates would also acquire business skills relating to
public relations, marketing and entrepreneurship, which would
assist them in the administration of institutions engaged in
various sporting activities.
