1.8.89 - 31.7.90 :- Worked as House-Intern in the departments of Surgery, Internal Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine at Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, India.

1.8.90 - 31.7.91 :- House-Officer in the Department of ENT at Calcutta National Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata, India.

1.8.91 - 19.8.91 :- House-Officer in The Department of General Surgery at M.R. Bangur Hospital, Kolkata, India.

20.8.91 - 10.11.91 :- House-Officer in the Department of General Surgery , at IPGMER - SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, India.

Working as House-Officer in the Departments of ENT and General Surgery, I Had a rewarding experience not only in clinical medicine but also in the Handling of working operations in the outpatients & inpatients departments. In these areas in the hospital, patient care and the triad relation of doctor- Nurse-Patient care were of special interest to me.

November 1991 :- Joined Post Graduate Course of DLO ( ENT ) under Calcutta University.

Passed DLO, from Calcutta University, in August 1993.

1993 April to 1995 February :- Worked as Medical Officer in the Tea gardens in Darjeeling & Dooars, in Goodrick Tea, West Bengal, India.

At the Tea Gardens, I had first hand experience in dealing with patient care and Also in the management of the Garden Workers' Welfare Operations.

1995 onwards , I was engaged in private medical practice in Kolkata.

2004 August to 2005 November :- I was Centre Head, The Apollo Clinic, City Center, DC Block, Salt Lake, Kolkata - 700064.

2008 April :- Appointed as Assistant Professor, Department of Health Care & Hospital Management, IISWBM, Kolkata.

At present, posted in the above, as co-ordinator, MBA-PS Health Care & Hospital Management, Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management ( IISWBM ) Kolkata, India.
