1. The minimum qualification for admission to the course is at least 3 years Bachelor's degree OR 4 years Honours degree OR any professional degree OR any equivalent Programmes/ Courses from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/NVC-OBC/PWD).

2. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in Executive/ Supervisory level.

This Evening MBA Program has executive student profile ranging from frontline supervisors to senior level managers, from different private & public sectors involved in Engineering, IT, Processing & Manufacturing, Marketing and Financial Institutions. The student block comprises of professionals from several others areas such as Medicine, Academic etc.

• Candidate will be required to sit for Management Aptitude Test (MAT), arranged by All India Management Association.
• Candidates who have taken Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) conducted by AICTE and / or Joint Entrance for Management Test (JEMAT) conducted by the West Bengal University of Technology will also be eligible. Those who are appearing in ATMA, XAT etc. may also apply.
• On the basis of the tests the candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview at the Institute premises.
• The Final List of the selected candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit.

Students will have to choose any one area of specialization from among the following:

• Marketing Management
• Financial Management
• Human Resource Management
• Production and Operations Management
• Business Analytics and Systems Management

From within each area of specialization, they will have to take up courses in 6 papers.
