IISWBM in association with Indian Association for Productivity, Quality and Reliability (IAPQR) and Millennium Institute of Energy and Environment Management organized the National Conference on Agricultural and Industrial Metabolism for Sustainable Development at Institute Assembly Hall. The primary objective of the conference was to provide a platform for discussing and exchanging views on various issues of Agricultural and Industrial Metabolism by corporate executives, policy makers, academicians, researchers, practitioners to recon with the challenges. The Conference was inaugurated by Dr. S. R. Wate, Director, NEERI, Nagpur and the key note address was delivered by him. Dr. S. N. Ray, Director, IISWBM; Prof. S. P. Mukherjee, President, IAPQR Prof. S. K. Sanyal, VC, KV; Professor Jayanta Bandyopadhyay, IIM, Kolkata; Mr. A. K. Sharma, Director, Production, NALCO were some of the prime speakers of the Conference. The Conference was attended by the faculty members and MPSM students besides the other delegates from the entire country
IISWBM in association with Indian Association for Productivity, Quality and Reliability (IAPQR) observed 'World Quality Day 2010' on theme Honesty - Key to Quality at Institute Auditorium. The Conference was inaugurated by Prof. D. K. Sanyal, Member BOG and Treasurer, IISWBM and the key note address was delivered by him. IAPQR members and Institute's faculty members along with the MBA (Final Yr) and MPSM (1st Yr) students participated the same.
