Prof. (Dr.) Jayanti De

Profile

Dr. Jayanti De, Professor (Transportation & Logistics Management), Public Systems Management Dept. did her Ph D from IIEST (former Bengal Engineering and Science University), Shibpur, Howrah. Her thesis title was: "Socioeconomic Attributes for Prioritization of Grade Separated Road Intersections - A Case Study of Kolkata". She also did M Phil (in Economics) and MA in Economics from University of Calcutta. She worked for a Project on Foreign Tourists in Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She worked as a full time lecturer in Economics from 22.8.83 to 10.5.87 at Durgapore Women's College. She worked as Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor in IISWBM since September 1999 and currently working as Professor (since 2016) till date at IISWBM. She has been working as the Coordinator of Transportation & Logistics Management and Faculty -in-Charge of Placement of Transportation & Logistics Management for both Summer Internship and Final Placement.
