The minimum qualification for admission to the Course is a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Science / Commerce / Arts / Business Administration or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Law with 50% marks or its equivalent from any University recognized by the University of Calcutta.
The applicants for the admission to the MBA-PS Course with specialization in Transport and Logistics Management are required to take MAT / CAT / CMAT / JEMAT / GATE / GMAT. The candidates short listed on the basis of cut-off-marks in the above selection tests would be required to appear for a Group Discussion and selection of candidates will be strictly on the basis of merit.

Students are recruited for diverse functional roles such as supply chain operations, warehouse management, procurement, transportation planning, inventory management, logistics coordination, demand & supply planning, order management and business analytics.
The programme has demonstrated a strong placement record, with average compensation packages ranging from ₹6.50 lakh per annum to ₹7.52 lakh per annum. The highest package offered reached ₹20 lakh per annum in 2026. In addition to domestic career opportunities, the programme also facilitates international placements on a periodic basis.
